Life comes at you fast. One day you’re UP and everyone is singing your praises, then the next… *crickets*

It’s far too often that we base WHO we are on the opinions and validations of others. Be it your co-workers, friends & family, or whatever industry you work in; it’s too easy to succumb to the pressures of how other people view you.

The past couple months for me have been interesting to say the least. Living in LA I’ve learned how to ride the “waves.” 🌊
Sometimes my phone is ringing off the hook with opportunities, and some days, maybe even months, there’s nothing. Zero, zilch, nada. Sometimes the silence is deafening. It can make you start to question yourself. Am I on the right path? Am I good enough? God, have you forgotten about me?

So the question I have for you is, what do YOU do when everything goes silent? When opportunities are no longer knocking on your door? Or your friends are too busy with their own success to pay you any attention? Or even when your own family decides “You’re on your own, kid?”

Over the course of the last few months, as things began to slow down in my life, I found myself trying to keep myself “busy” by investing my energy into people and things that don’t serve me. It’s so easy to get distracted and lose focus. Next thing you know, you end up in positions and circumstances that could’ve all been avoided if you just learn to WAIT on God.

But could it be, that maybe God has purposely placed you in a season of stillness so that you will LISTEN?

Those “dry” seasons where nothing seems to be happening, is actually where all the goodness lies. Silence is Golden. When it seems like you’re down to nothing, trust that God is always up to something. YOU are being perfected. Pruned and molded. You see, the enemy will always use your season of waiting to sow seeds of doubt into your mind.

Listen, God knows your situation. He’s not ever surprised by the negative, daunting circumstances you’re facing. That doesn’t change the victorious outcome He has already preordained. Instead of looking at what circumstances say, pay attention to what God says about you. He calls you Victorious. He says that you’re more than a Conqueror. He says the Greator One lives inside YOU.

Scripture tells us, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven…. a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

Today, I challenge you to keep planting and sowing your seeds. Declare His promises over your life and and stand firmly on His word. And in God’s perfect timing, you will “Reap a harvest if you faint not.” Galatians 6:9

And just promise me one thing, would ya? Don’t you DARE give up on yourself, Ok?

As always, I am praying for you. Be blessed! Love You.

Good Word! God is such a wonderful Father! He desire more for us then we can even imagine. As you continue to listen for God’s Direction, continue to Prepare for the Destination He has Predestined you to Travel. There was a statement I read a few days ago and it simply said: why do you continue to ask for directions from someone who has never travel where you are going” Blow my mind. God will always place different people in your life to be a Voice for Him to get a word to you! We just have to be obedient and follow the God given directions. Keep walking in your season. Be prepared to pluck up the Harvest. The season is here. Proud of you and love you deeply. Pops!

What a great reminder! We always get nervous and stressed out trying to make things happen when all we need to do is to just be still and remember that God is working! He is the Agent, The job, the new business etc…it’s so simple! Keep our eyes on him and everything comes into fruition. Thanks for sharing!!
